Business Analyst I Contract and Perm

Our Innovative Analysis Team is seeking experienced Business Analysts with a strong background in the Banking & Financial Services industry. We are looking for professionals who have worked on high-impact projects, including:

• API & Systems Integration
• Digital Transformation (Mobile & Online Banking)
• AML, Fraud & Compliance Initiatives
• Payments & Transaction Processing

Key Responsibilities and/or output areas include, but are not limited to:
As an experienced Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business and technology transformation by:

• Conducting end-to-end business analysis (data, process, systems, and business analysis).
• Engaging with key stakeholders to gather, interpret, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Translating business needs into user stories and integrating them into Agile delivery frameworks.
• Mapping and analyzing existing and new business processes to optimize efficiency.
• Ensuring data integrity, quality, and governance across projects.
• Participating in solution design, testing, and implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Supporting project delivery through implementation and training.
• Driving risk and quality management processes throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking/Financial Services.
• Proven expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and RUP methodologies.
• Strong ability to translate requirements into user stories for Agile teams.
• Hands-on experience with process notations and business process modeling tools (e.g., ARIS).
• Strong data modeling skills, particularly with Entity Diagram Mapping.
• Exposure to ACORD Framework, SOA, TOGAF, and ARCHIMATE is advantageous.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus.

Education Qualification:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• A Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Business Analysis, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• BABOK knowledge preferred; CBAP certification is a plus.
