Data Scientist

IQbusiness, a leading independent management consulting firm, is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics Capability. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in predictive analytics and will provide analytical insights across various industries. This role involves utilizing analytical skills to develop and implement analytical solutions that drive data-informed decision-making for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize advanced analytics models to meet client needs in various industries.
• Utilize predictive and unsupervised analytics techniques, including forecasting, segmentation, clustering, and association analysis, to derive insights from data.
• Conduct data mining, cleaning, and analysis using programming skills in Python, SAS, SQL, VBA, and R.
• Compile comprehensive documentation for model development and business requirements.
• Create Management Information Systems (MIS) dashboards that provide advanced insights into key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Monitor model performance and develop solutions to enhance existing models.
• Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, preparing presentations and reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• Completed degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in analytics in any industry.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in forecasting techniques, segmentation, cohort analysis, regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and estimation/correlation analysis.
• Competency in using SAS, SQL, and VBA; familiarity with R is also considered an advantage.

Knowledge Requirements:

• Strong understanding of analytics methodologies, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques.
• Familiarity with data mining and statistical modeling practices.
• Understanding of general business processes and the ability to apply analytical insights across various sectors.
